This posting details a method of self improvement for artists.
Many artists have a specific style they would like to emulate, and many usually have a specific artist in mind.
I have a necessity for being able to keep my drawing skills for next year, as I have gotten into AP studio art without the prereq.
I thought of drawing my own interpretation of a set of characters, one by one, a few a day, and yes I'm thinking of doing every single pokemon.
I have noticed other artists do this too, and I think it would be a great way to study cartoonistry and attain the proper drawing skills I need.
Well, I hereby force myself to draw a single character from every theatrical disney movie released in chronological order... one every day
What a mission statement there.I think it would be apt for me to make my own
IM GONNA DRAW ALL THE POKEMON IN ORDER WISH ME LUCK KTHNX
Steps of execution
1. IDENTIFY POKEMAN
2. IDENTIFY POKEMON DETAILS
3. DRAW SOME POSES UP
3. PLAN COMPOSITION
$. DO IT UP MAN
5. INK IT (TTLY OPTIONAL)
7. REPEAT UNTIL YOU DRAW ARCEUS
8. MAKE LOVE TO RENAERENAE
: Not optional
So I'm gonna do this I bought a new sketchbook at michael's, and I got a %40 off my next sketchbook purchase ^_^ fuckin carrot smileys
And If you want to create your own endeavour for self betterment go ahead.
